DALLAS--Le Pavillon, a historic, boutique hotel in the center of the Big Easy, announces its implementation of OpenKey, providing their guests with the convenience of keyless entry to their rooms. The New Orleans legendary hotel is owned by Ashford Hospitality Trust and managed by Remington Hotels.
Le Pavillon now offers OpenKey’s smartphone technology platform with dormakaba room locks, providing a seamless integration of the universal mobile technology. Through the OpenKey app, guests can customize their stay by skipping the front desk to check-in, confirm their identity with an ID capture for security, as well as modify their estimated time of arrival (ETA) to the hotel and get directions to the property.
“We are very excited to be working with OpenKey to provide our guests the latest in technology conveniences to make their stay extraordinary,” said Ozgen Cevik, general manager, Le Pavillon. “Guests visiting for both leisure and business will have one less thing to worry about without needing to keep track of their room key. The program was easy to integrate into our existing system, and is extremely user-friendly.”
“For OpenKey to be selected for such a historic and celebrated New Orleans property is very exciting,” said Brian Shedd, VP of Sales and Marketing at OpenKey. “We use our phones for just about everything today - from being able to make instant purchases to boarding flights. Using our phones to check-in to our destination is the natural next step in tech travel.”
Le Pavillon is a luxurious hotel that combines modern amenities with old world elegance. The 226-room property is located near the French Quarter and Garden District, making it easy for guests to explore all New Orleans has to offer. The lavish rooms and exceptional service has been awarded the AAA Four Diamond award since 1996 and has been named to the Conde Nast Gold List.
The OpenKey app is available to download in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. A demo of the technology is available on the company website.
